Hey! So, it's 10:34 p.m. and it's kinda, no, let's get real, it IS past my bedtime. I'm awake but I'm tired. Boy howdy am I tired. I just had to get a post on tonight because this weekend will be crazy busy with a wedding so this might be my last chance before... who even knows when. We're shooting my cousin Amelia's wedding this weekend and we shot my cousin Cassandra's wedding last weekend. The three of us were all born in June within just a few days of each other. So we're pretty cool. =)

Anyway, I wanted to share a sneak peak from their wedding. I loved the colors (you might be thinking "but it's pink and you don't like pink"...BUT it was bright pink...not pretty pretty princess pink...just to clarify) and they had a lot of fabulous details. More on those later! Here's the picture:

Hey guys! A couple weeks ago we had that fabulous (as always) opportunity to meet up with Amber and Ryan again. We photographed their wedding back in May and were supposed to have done their engagement session in April. Well, that day came around and it was windier than heck-fire =) out there. If you don't know how windy that is...it's WINDY. So we all decided it'd be best to postpone. Over three months later, here we are, and they finally have some 'engagement' pictures. Yeah!

These two are so fun to be with and photograph because they are just so dang nice and naturally in love with each other - so much so -  it just radiates from them (and makes for great pictures too).  I love how we've met some of the coolest people through photography. Anyway, Ryan and Amber picked their location and I think it was just perfect for them. Here's the pictures!

 

Brooke, a friend I worked with in the shoe department at Dillard's (good times in the clubhouse, good times), contacted me a while back about taking pictures of her kiddos. Brooke is fun and energetic so no doubt her kids are too. We met up at Riverside Park in Wichita and we had a blast chasing the kids around - they had us cracking up the entire time. =) It was a super hot day so when the fountains came on later that morning we had to get some shots of them splashing around in that. Here's some of our favorites. I had a hard time narrowing it down because there were so many fun ones of the kids playing.

Like I mentioned before, we photographed this pretty girl on the 4th of July - her 9-month birthday. What a way to celebrate! I can't believe how much she's growing. She is such a happy, laid back baby and is always smiling. Here's just a few of her and her toothy grin. =)

Hey 2010 seniors! If you haven't already booked a session with us, NOW is the time to do it! Our schedule is filling up quickly and we have only a few select dates left! If you've talked to us about doing a session (senior session or any other kind) but haven't actually got a date booked, you need to jump right on that so we can reserve that time for you! We love seniors and can't wait to hang out and get some awesome shots for you!



Also, it's not too early to be thinking about family pictures before the holidays! Believe it or not, it's going to sneak right up on us. =) It always does. We are in the beginning phases of planning a day for family mini-sessions. This will be a day in the fall (we're thinking October-Novemberish) when we meet at one location and offer 30-minute mini-sessions all day at a reduced price to provide more people with the opportunity to get some great shots for Christmas cards/gifts/ets... I'll be posting more details very soon so keep your eyes out. If you're more interested in our typical family session experience, please let us know asap. Ok, enough of this business talk!! We'll be back to posting fun pictures in no time.
