January 7th was a beautiful day and we're thrilled we got to document such a beautiful couple on said beautiful day. =)
Lenny and Emily have a great love for each other and their friends and family have such a great love for them.
Our day began at The Salon and the Sole Patch Barber Shop in Kansas City. This is where we met our fun videographer colleagues for the day - Jeff and Erica of Anecdotally Yours. We loved working with them - they are super sweet, talented, and talking to them made our wedding down time (dinner) even more fun! =)
Anyway, like I said, the wedding was gorgeous (as was everybody in it), the limo ride was super fun, and the reception was full of dancing (seriously... so many people hit the dance floor - loved it), good food, sweet toasts, and of course, love!

The night before New Year's Eve we had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding for some beautiful people! You've met Adam and Amanda before here, so we'll skip to the wedding. It was a candlelit ceremony with a super fun reception and dance after. Everyone looked fabulous, especially Amanda - I absolutely love her dress! =)
Anyway, we're so glad we got to be a part of the big day. Here's just a quick peek!

You met Jon and Julie here. I met Julie my freshman year at OSU. She's been a great friend ever since! =) I couldn't be happier that she met Jon a few years ago in this romantic comedy style encounter. These two are perfect together and their wedding was perfect too. I could go on and on, but let's cut to the good stuff.

We've been looking forward to this couple's wedding even since before their engagement pictures over a year ago! I knew they value photos and I knew they'd be fun and awesome. They did and they were and we had such a great time.
Several of us there, including the bride and groom, are Jefferson Elementary alums. =) It was fun to see Deryk's brother Chase who I hadn't seen in years and of course, we threw in a pic of me and Chris just or kicks.
Lynnette, as predicted, was stunning and the wedding and reception were simple but glam too. The whole day - very pretty.
I know these two have been waiting anxiously to see these... so enjoy you love birds!! =)

Adam and Katie met while in the Peace Corps. How cool is that!? They seem so perfect for each other and they were perfect clients. We had such a great time photographing their wedding. I loved their wedding style. There was a sweet ceremony outside at The Barns. They had fall colors and a Katie wore a champagne dress (just like me!). They had delicious mediterranean food, a to die for carrot cake, and great music at the reception. Oh, and the place was full of sweet family and friends just busting at the seams to have a great time! =) What more do you need!?
